St Croix
this WeekThis is one of my Favorites too to see what is going on
around the island!
St. Croix
Tourism -- Use this St. Croix Tourism guide to help you plan your St. Croix
vacation. StCroixTourism.com is the most detailed and comprehensive tourist
guide available on the internet for all things St. Croix. It includes more
photos than any other St. Croix information guide.
Buck Island and other beaches Turtle Beach is located
on Buck Island which was declared a national Monument by President Kennedy. It
is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the entire Caribbean. You
can access this beach by taking one of the many charter sail boats that visit
the island each day. Be sure to visit the island's under-water snorkeling
trail.
Golf -- For
those who prefer to stay on land, try a round of golf at the
Carambola Golf Club (809-778-5638). Here you'll
find one of the best golf courses on St. Croix and perhaps in the entire
Caribbean. Nestled in the lush interior hills of northern St. Croix, the course
is set amid palms, bougainvillea and hibiscus. As designed by the famed
architect Robert Trent Jones, the 6,856-yard, par 72 course features many
challenging uphill and over-water shots, particularly on the tricky par 3
holes. Tee times are generally easy to get, but you must make reservations one
day in advance. Lessons, equipment rentals, practice facilities and a pro shop
are all available on the premises. The Buccaneer
Golf Course (809-773-2100) is another first-rate course, as well as
being a good test of your shot-making skill. It is a hilly 6,268-yard, par 71
course dramatically situated by the ocean. The course, pro-shop and practice
facilities are open to the public by reservation. The
Reef Golf Course (809-773-8844) is a fun 9-hole
course that also offers panoramic ocean vistas of Buck Island. It's located on
the east end of the island by Duggan's Reef.

Rent a Yacht:
BVI Bareboat Yacht Charter
Virgin Island Sailing has been arranging quality bareboat and crewed yacht
charters in The Virgin Islands since 1978. We understand that every
Sailboat, Catamaran, and Motor Yacht we charter to every client is key to
a successful holiday experience.
Taste of
Tropics (dining):
OFF THE WALL OK so it looks like this is the
only place I recommend! Can't help it; I LOVE this place. And we love to cook
fun stuff at the Condo too. But I will try to come up with more... Plus in the
links I gave you there are plenty to find!!!
DUGGAN'S REEF RESTAURANT -
It is an
informal, open-to-the-breeze spot famous for its various lobster
dishes, "island style" fresh fish entrees, steaks and pasta.
When asked why the restaurant has been successful Frank says, "a
strong knowledgeable staff with generous portions of food and
drink. Over all-we like what we do and we hope it shows." It
does!
ROWDY JOE'S NORTH SHORE EATERY -
Rowdy Joe’s
award-winning chef, Scott Bryan, cooks up “good mood food” using
fresh local ingredients from St. Croix’s many farms and local
fisherman. You can also enjoy an espresso, wireless Internet on
the open air deck or come inside to watch your favorite sports
with a local fruit margarita. Don’t leave without trying chef
Scott’s homemade ice cream, like French vanilla praline or
espresso white chocolate.
BEER DRINKING PIGS RESTAURANT --Tucked
into the rainforest on the west side of St. Croix is a little
bar, Mt. Pellier Hut Domino Club. A thatched roof covers what is
in all accounts a jungle bar, and has often been called such.
Tables with decks of cards and dominos await those that seek the
unique atmosphere of the place. Locals love it there. Norma, the
hostess,
is easy going and keeps the beers cold and the “Mamma-wanna”
handy. JJ and Oreo, the main attractions, can drink you under
the table. MORE LINKS TO SHOW YOU MORE FUN IN THIS PLACE...

St. Croix 2012 Ironman Triathlon with Howard and Penney of Caribbean Rental on Sugar Beach, we were at Calvin's, Spratnet, Food and Drinks... at Cane Bay cheering the athletes on. Must have bloody marys, he makes a GREAT BREAKFAST before the race begins. and then has a PIg Roast in the afternoon, and entertainment. They were heading towards "THE BEAST" a really steep hill that has bear claws at the bottom of it because it is such a rough incline. The athletes tackled it well.
